Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk will play for the Ukrainian national team in the upcoming qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup. It was reported in the Basketball Federation of Ukraine. After reaching player insurance agreements, the Toronto defender received permission from the NBA to take part in the Ukrainian national team’s selection matches for the 2023 World Cup.
At the same time, another representative from Ukraine in the strongest basketball championship on the planet, Oleksiy Len, will not arrive at the next matches and will join the team in August.
Recall that in the selection for the 2023 World Cup in Group G, the Ukrainian team is in third place, with a victory in three matches. On July 1, the Ainars Bagatskis team in Riga will play a home match against Georgia, on July 4, our team will have a fight against North Macedonia, and on July 7, a rescheduled match against Spain will take place in Riga.
