The final between the national teams of Serbia and Germany will take place on September 10. In the semifinals, the Serbs beat the Canadians and the Germans beat the American team.
— I’m not surprised that the Americans lost in the semi-final. There were already precedents at this World Championship, and it was not clear that this particular team had a margin of safety. Yes, the guys are talented, excellent basketball players, but it wasn’t like the 1992, 2008 or 2012 Olympics. It was always clear that we could play with them, that we could fight with them, showed the Lithuanian and German national teams. These Americans are far from the Dream Team. In general, there has been only one “Dream Team” in basketball history, and we are already building our expectations with it.
