Germany team beat the team Serbia in the final of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The final match ended with a score of 83:77 (23:26, 24:21, 22:10, 14:20) in favor of the Germans. The most productive player of the match was the defender of the German national team Dennis Schröder, who scored 28 points. Aleksa Avramovic scored 21 points for Serbia.

For Germany, this victory was the first in history at the world championships. The team’s best achievement so far was the bronze medal at the 2002 World Championships.
Earlier on Sunday, in the third place match, the American team lost to Canada – 118:127 OT. For the Canadians, these medals were the first at the World Championships.
