People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Migitsko told that he will attend the Kondrashin and Belov Cup tournament, which will take place on September 15-16 in St. Petersburg.

Migitsko was announced for the match “Veterans” – “Actors”, which will take place during the long break of the final match. Participants in the main tournament will be Zenit (St. Petersburg), UNICS (Kazan), MBA (Moscow) and Paris Nizhny Novgorod.

— I went to basketball for the first time in Leningrad at the age of 24, before that I didn’t really follow it. And when I came to see it, it turned out very cool! I really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere itself. And it all became very interesting to me. Over time, I got to know the guys themselves – great basketball players! Yura Pavlov, Sasha Belov, Andrei Makeev, Misha Silantiev – this list can be continued and memorized endlessly. By the way, the guys, in turn, were very interested in the theater, where they willingly came. Overall, we had extraordinary encounters. Through all of this, of course, I fell in love with basketball. I still like him very much.

And then, over time, I met Vladimir Kondrashin and his family. They were great people, real Leningradians! The color of our city is both sporting and cultural. I am very grateful that fate brought me together with Kondrashin and Belov. In addition, it is still very sad that Sasha Belov died so early. Yes, he won an Olympic gold medal, but he still missed it! Vladimir Petrovich, in turn, left a huge mark on the life of the Neva city and the country. So we need to remember these names and call them often. In this sense, it is very cool that a tournament in memory of Belov and Kondrashin takes place every year in St. Petersburg. Honor and praise to those who organize it. Of course, I myself will definitely be present at the tournament,” Migitsko told .
