Adrian Griffin barely arrived Milwaukee Bucks and is already well established throughout the franchise. During a charity golf match for the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation this past Monday, the 11th, the team’s new coach spoke about this beginning with the team and with the Greek star, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“Me and Giannis are on the same page. We have a great relationship, so far. It’s been really nice getting to know you. He wants to win, I want to win. That simple. I respect him. I respect what he has achieved in this league. We are here together to win. I have no problem with that. I think it’s a great partnership. We will lead this team together. When he is ahead, the others will follow. I think this is great”said the coach.
Last month, Giannis told The New York Times that he wanted to see how committed the team was to winning another title before signing another long contract with the franchise. The MVP also noted the change in the coaching staff and wanted to “see the new dynamics” under the new way of working.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has a contract until the 2024/25 season NBA, with a player contract option for another year. O Milwaukee Bucks makes his debut in the 2023/24 league season against Philadelphia 76ers. “We are aligned. We are here to win.
