Athletistic/Basketball. Former NBA player Brandon Hunter has died. He was only 42 years old.

“It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of our former player Brandon Hunter. We express our deepest condolences to the entire family of the basketball player,” the Orlando Magic press service said in a statement.

Brandon Hunter has become a legend on the Ohio University team. He was a three-time first-team All-MAC selection. Hunter was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft. Brandon spent only one season with the Celts and also played one season in Orlando. In total, he played 67 games in the NBA.

After leaving the NBA, Hunter played outside the United States. Late in his career he was involved in coaching, real estate and sports management.
