The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced key dates and events that will appear before the start of the upcoming season. This is the list of events that will occur during your days.
2023 dates
September 26: Allowed first date for players participating in preseason games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to report to their teams at the scheduled time.
September 27th: Training camps are open to all teams participating in preseason games outside of North America.
October 2nd: Allowed the first date for all other veteran players to report to their teams.
October 3: NBA training camps open.
October 5th: NBA preseason games begin.
October 5 and 7: NBA games in Abu Dhabi, Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates).
October 8th: NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, Toronto Raptors vs. Sacramento Kings (Vancouver, Canada).
October 10th: Dallas Mavericks vs. Real Madrid, preseason match (Madrid, Spain).
October 12 °: NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Detroit Pistons (Montreal, Canada).
October 20: The NBA preseason is over.
October 23: Lists prepared for NBA opening day.
Start of the league season
October 24th: Start of the 2023-24 NBA regular season.
October 28: NBA G League Draft.
October 30 – November 9: NBA G League training camp duration dates.
November 3: The NBA In Season Tournament is about to begin.
November 9: The squads prepared for the opening day of the NBA G League.
November 9: NBA Mexico City game, Atlanta Hawks vs. Orlando Magic (Mexico City, Mexico).
November 10: The NBA G League season is about to begin.
December 7th: NBA In Season Tournament Semifinals (Las Vegas, NV).
December 9: NBA In Season Tournament Championship (Las Vegas, NV).
From December 19 to 22: NBA G League Winter Championship and Showcase Cup.
December 27: The 34-game NBA G League regular season is about to begin.
2024 dates
January 5, 2024– 10-day contracts can now be signed.
January 10: All NBA contracts are guaranteed for the remainder of the season.
January 11: against NBA Paris, Brooklyn Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (Paris, France).
January 23-27: NBA Rivals Week.
February 8th: The NBA trade deadline.
February 16-18: NBA All-Star 2024 (Indianapolis, IN).
February 16-21: NBA All-Star break.
March 1st: Playoff eligibility waiver deadline.
March 30th: The NBA G League regular season ends.
April 2: The NBA G League Playoffs are about to begin.
April 14th: The NBA regular season is coming to an end.
April 15: NBA rosters set for the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
Last stage of the NBA season
April 16-19: NBA Play-In Tournament.
April 20th: The 2024 NBA Playoffs begin.
April 28th: Eligibility deadline for early entry into the NBA.
May 6 and 7: Conference semifinals begin (possibly moved to May 4 and 5).
May 12: 2024 NBA Draft Lottery presented by State Farm.
May 13-19: NBA Combine (Chicago, IL).
May 21 and 22: conference finals start dates (possible to move to May 19 and 20).
June 6th: Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
June 9: Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
June 12: Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
June 14th: Game 4 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
June 17: deadline for early entry participants to withdraw from the NBA Draft
June 17: Game 5 of the 2024 NBA Finals (if necessary).
June 20th: Game 6 of the 2024 NBA Finals (if necessary).
June 23: Game 7 of the 2024 NBA Finals (if necessary).
June 27th: NBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm.
