Brooklyn Nets NBA point guard Kyrie Irving reacted to a post on Twitter by Barstool Sports featuring comic book hero and movie villain the Joker outside the hospital he blew up.
“Kyrie Irving destroys every team he plays for,” read the caption of the video, which has been viewed more than 3.3 million times.
*NBA Champion and *Gold Medalist Kyrie Irving. I just thought the statement needed to be corrected as you continue to make money from my name and the names of many others – replied Irving.
The 30-year-old basketball player had already received permission to look for a new club, but couldn’t find a suitable option. He remains with the team for the 2022/23 season.
Irving won the NBA with Cleveland in 2016. Additionally, he won the 2016 Olympics and the 2014 World Championships with Team USA.
Last season, Brooklyn lost to Boston in the Eastern Conference First Round Playoff Series 0-4.
