The player spent last season in Azerbaijan
BC Rivne announced the signing of an American center Trenton Clayton.
The 26-year-old American center (206 cm, 104 kg) is a graduate of the Pittsburgh State University team; Trenton also played in Argentina, El Salvador, Finland, Portugal and Azerbaijan.
The American spent the 2022/23 season in the Azerbaijan Super League for Zirve Astara, where he averaged 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 16.2 minutes on the court.
Clayton is the second foreign player on the Rivne roster. Earlier, the club announced the transfer of American defender Elijah Joyner.
Exactly in the summer, he confirmed his participation in the Favbet Super League 2023/24. The Rivne team became the winner of the Major League and, based on sportsmanship, deserved a promotion to the class.
The new season of the Favbet Super League starts on October 3 with cash in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk. The first match will be held on October 6 against Stary Lutsk.
