On Thursday, MBA lost to Turkey’s Fenerbahce in the quarterfinals of the VTB United League Super Cup with a score of 79:94, the tournament will end on September 24. Last season in the United League, the Moscow club took 6th place in the regular season.
— I think that, overall, this game can be considered a plus for us. We got off to a bad start to the third quarter. A momentary loss of concentration cost us dearly. Our task is to maintain concentration during the 40 minutes of the match, and not to give the opponent the opportunity to feel the game and score easy points. I think this experience will help us avoid such failures in the future. But of course, playing against an opponent like Fenerbahce is a big plus for us, it’s a very useful match. We are happy to have identified our weak points. We will work on this.

“Our goal is to play our game, not to give in under pressure and to show a result at least not worse than that season,” Yakushin told .
