Athletistic/Basketball. ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski says Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant will be with the team for at least one more season.
“Now Durant got what he wanted, which was Kyrie Irving as part of his team for next season. The reality right now is that Durant and Irving will spend the coming season in the Nets,” Wojnarowski cites “Championship” in reference to the Launderer’s report.
Previously, Kyrie Irving was close to leaving the club, in which case Durant would most likely have left the team as well. But Irving announced he had extended his contract with the Brooklyn until June 30, and Durant, whose contract with the Nets expires in four years, decided to stay.
Kevin Durant played 55 NBA regular season games last season. Forward averages are 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists per game. Durant also appeared in one play-in game (25.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 11.0 assists) and four NBA playoff games (26.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists) .
