Our juniors lost to their rivals from Bulgaria
Ukrainian women’s national basketball team 3×3 U-17 lost to Bulgaria in the quarter finals European Championship.
Our juniors made it to the playoffs from first place in the subgroup, but finished their performances already in the first round for elimination.
The match was a tough fight, but at the beginning of the second half of the match the Bulgarians managed to take a lead. The gap could not be made up, despite all attempts. The Ukrainians took risks, but the series of long-range attacks they launched in the final period were not effective.
Earlier, the Ukrainian team, coached by Olga Alekseychik, won the group stage at the tournament in Greece, beating the host team of the tournament (17:10) and losing to the Netherlands team (13:15).
