The new United League season begins on September 30 with a match between Kazan UNICS and the club Lokomotiv-Kuban from Krasnodar.

— It is important to note that our anniversary season begins on Saturday: the VTB United League celebrates its 15th anniversary. This promises to be very interesting. We still have almost the same system as last year: the first two team rounds play “all against everyone” – this is the first stage, and depending on its results, the participants are divided into two groups, where the teams are already playing among themselves. In this case, the first group automatically enters the playoffs, and the second will already have a play-in (a new mini-tournament of 7 to 10 places – “” note).
