The Ukrainian team scored 106 points
Prometheus played the first match in the new competition Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. Ronen Ginzburg’s team defeated Viimsi – 106:61.
The Ukrainian team won all four quarters of the match. The key was the second 10 minutes, which Prometheus won with a difference of 24 points – 31:7.
Prometheus’ most productive players were Ondrej Balvin and Yussuf Sanon, who scored 16 points each. American guard Marcus Keane had 13 points.
Two Ukrainians played in Viimsi: Artem Kovalev (5 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist) and Ilya Lishchina (1 rebound + 2 assists).
Let us remind you that Prometheus became the champion of the last season of LABL. In the final match, Ginzburg’s team beat the Riga VEF.
Prometheus will play its next match on October 4 against Hamburg as part of the EuroCup.
