Saturday’s meeting, held in Samara, ended with a score of 83:63 (17:11, 23:19, 20:16, 23:17). Alexander Gudumak scored 13 points for the Samara team, while Xavier Rathen-Mays scored 22 points for the losers.
In the next match, on October 5, Samara will host Zenit Saint Petersburg; two days earlier, the Krasnoyarsk team will face CSKA in Moscow.
