The women’s and men’s teams are preparing for the next event in Santiago de Chile and the members of each team have been announced.
With the goal of the Pan American Games to be held in Santiago, Chile, the lists of 12 players who will represent the men’s and women’s national teams have been revealed. The men’s team is coached by Leandro Ramella, while Mauricio Santangelo will be the coach of the women’s team.
It should be noted that these calls of 12 names come from an extensive list sent in a timely manner to the Argentine Olympic Committee with potentially eligible players. If there are personal, sporting or logistical reasons, the CAB may make changes in the call to players from the aforementioned list.

The men’s team will take part in Group A with: Venezuela, Panama and the Dominican Republic. The group stage is scheduled from Tuesday, November 31 to Thursday, November 2. The reclassification and semifinals are on Friday the 3rd and the Finals on Saturday the 4th. The four (4) teams that finish in 3rd and 4th position of each group will participate in the reclassification games. Meanwhile, the four (4) teams that occupy the first two (2) positions in each group will play in the semifinal phase.

The men’s team has won two gold medals at the Pan American Games in its history (Mar del Plata 1995 and Lima 2019), in addition to 2 silver medals (Buenos Aires 1951 and Mexico 1955).

Both the reclassification and semifinals will be played on Saturday, October 28, while the Finals are set for Sunday, October 29.
