La Gloria played their debut against Unión de Santa Fe this Wednesday, October 4 at Ángel Malvicino. The Institute won a great match by a difference of two points.
A Glory in the first game
The match was very close and was decided by free throws by both sides. In addition, Unión had a shot from behind the goal, in the hands of Felipe Pais to win the match, but he failed and Lucas Victoriano’s team took the game.
The MVP of the Córdoba team was Roberto Acuña, he contributed to La Gloria’s victory with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. The 11th, Natha Hoover, is also one of the main swords of the Institute, adding 18 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist.
On Tatengue’s side, the standout was the center, Pedro Bombino, who led his team with 19 points, 15 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block.
Will it be a record this season?
The Cuban, Pedro Bombino, collected 15 boards in this game. So far only three games into the new season have been played, but there is no doubt that double figures in rebounds will be hard to beat.
