NBA Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant said that the Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov is his favorite athlete on social media.
“Khabib Nurmagomedov,” Durant responded to the corresponding question on TikTok.
Nurmagomedov, 35, has 29 wins and no losses in his mixed martial arts career. He held the UFC lightweight championship from April 2018 until March 2021, when he officially retired.
Durant is a two-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors (2017, 2018); he also played for the Seattle Supersonics, Oklahoma City Thunder and Brooklyn Nets.
