Veteran point guard reveals what he thought about the franchise’s mentality upon arriving in Milwaukee, which has reached the NBA playoffs every time for seven seasons
The shipowner Damian Lillard had a very busy offseason. The veteran asked in July to be exchanged for Portland Trail Blazersdefining that his favorite destination was Miami Heat. However, at the end of September, the franchise involved him in a trade for the Milwaukee Bucks.
During an interview for Sirius XM NBA Radiothis past Saturday, the 7th, the 33-year-old point guard stated that he knew of the Bucks’ interest two weeks before the exchange was made, but that he was not sure if it would actually happen. “I knew it was a possibility. But, I didn’t think it would actually happen.”, he explained. Lillard also said that he liked the winning mentality that they have within the franchise. Wisconsin and the possibility of playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA in the 2020/21 season, reaching the playoffs in the last seven seasons. The addition of Lillard will make the squad more powerful, helping the Greek in search of another ring.
