Ronen Ginzbur’s team suffered their first defeat in official matches this season
Prometheus lost big Besiktas in the second round of group A Euroleague 2023/24 – 70:92.
The Turkish team took advantage from the first minutes. After the first half, Prometheus lost 12 points to the home team.
After the long break, Besiktas continued to dictate its play. Ronen Ginzburg’s team failed to turn the tide of the match and suffered their first defeat of the season.
In the first round of the Euroleague, Prometheus confidently beat Hamburg (97:77). In the next match, Ginzburg’s team will play on October 14 against Rapla in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. In the Eurocup, Prometheus will next face London Lions on October 18.
