Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff suffers dismissal with resignation

Terry Stotts resigns from the Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff after arriving this offseason to try to return to coaching in the NBA

The 2023/24 season has barely started and changes are already happening in full swing in the teams favorites for the title. According to information from Adrian Wojnarowskifrom “ESPN” U.Sthe main assistant of the Milwaukee Bucks, Terry Stotts, resigned and is no longer part of the franchise’s technical committee. The exact reason behind his termination is still unknown.

An experienced coach, he arrived at the Bucks during the offseason, after a spell in charge of the Portland Trail Blazers. The idea was to have an experienced professional to assist the new technician, Adrian Griffinwho will have his first season at the helm of a franchise in NBA. With only a week left until the start of the league, the team is unlikely to make any major changes to the staff and it is likely that someone who is already on the team will be promoted.

Speculation is that the acquisition of Damian Lillard on the part of the Bucks may be behind the resignation. That’s because Stotts coached the experienced point guard in all his seasons in charge of Portland. There are no rumors about any rift between the two, however, it is a possibility circulating within the league.
