Israel’s basketball teams will play their European Cup home matches in Cyprus due to the armed conflict in the country, Sport Rabbi reports.
This information was confirmed by the president of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, Andreas Mouzouridis.
Thus, Israeli Hapoel (Tel Aviv), Hapoel (Jerusalem), Hapoel (Holon), Maccabi (Tel Aviv) and Bnei Herzliya will play in Cyprus without fans.
The Israel Basketball Federation has already sent a corresponding request to the International Basketball Federation.
