Russian defender Alexei Shved signed a contract with Chinese club Shanxi Lungs.
— The professional basketball club “Shanxi” officially signed a contract with Alexei Shved. Once registration documents are submitted and approved, he will represent the men’s basketball team in the new season, the club said in a statement.
The 34-year-old Shved’s previous club was CSKA Moscow, which he left this summer.
The Swede is a bronze medalist at the 2012 Olympic Games and the 2011 European Championships. As part of CSKA, the defender became a four-time champion of Russia and winner of the Euroleague. He also played for Khimki near Moscow and several NBA clubs.
