The Argentina team will have to work hard to achieve victory against Puerto Rico. Although the albiceleste built a good lead in the third quarter, their rivals became strong in defense and began to find a goal from the perimeter to take the score to the point until the end of the match.
In the end, after a low-scoring start to the final quarter, Argentina knew how to close it out better. Agustina Jourdheuil converted a key triple with 24 seconds left in the game to begin sealing the win. Then Camila Suárez from the line contributed to extend the advantage and, despite the free throws given to Puerto Rico, Argentina was left with the victory.
