La Fusión defeated the Caballito team 74 to 64 in an emphatic victory for those led by Ramella.
La Fusión, who returned to competition after the forced suspension of the Pan American Games, had to fight to overcome a Ferro wrestler. Quimsa, which seemed to dominate the rival in the first quarter, withstood the home team’s comeback and ended up winning 74-64. With this result, they remain at the top of the table with a record of 4 -1, while the purslanes are found at the bottom with 2-5.
The dawn of the game left Brandon Robbinson completely undefended. The North American scored 18 points in the first ten minutes, where Ramella’s men showed their best version. The duo with Brussino gave them a dynamic that allowed them to escape 31 to 12 in the first ten. A risky bet by Fernández in the second quarter is what Ferro needs. With the trident Spano, Lezcano and Borsellino increased the pace, added a good number of steals and, with a quick start and high efficiency, they scored a 22-4 run to enter the long break left at a minimum of 34 to 35.

Upon returning from the locker room, Quimsa re-imposed the pace of the game. Whether by dominating the paint or forcing bad decisions from the opponent, they kept the two teams close to ten points apart. Caballito’s team tried to get closer, and on several occasions they narrowed down a possession, but the story did not change. With Vasirani establishing himself in the paint, along with the contributions of perimeter players who came close to the rim, they were able to win a game despite a poor 3/20 (15%) from the perimeter.
Future commitments
Quimsa will hit the road again and travel to Comodoro Rivadavia, where on Friday it will face Gimnasia in Socios Fundadores. Ferro will play again on Monday, when they host Peñarol de Mar del Plata at Héctor Etchart from 9:10 pm
