Museum honoring LeBron James will open in his hometown

Multimedia exhibition about the life and career of LeBron James takes place in November in Akron and will feature items never before revealed by the NBA star

This last Thursday, the 9th, the LeBron James Family Foundation revealed in a statement to the American press that the LeBron James’ Home Courtin Akronhometown of LeBron James in the state of Ohio, will finally be opened. The project is a museum, which will be opened on November 25th, portraying the trajectory of the star of NBA from his childhood to the present day in Los Angeles Lakersshowing the entire successful career of the highest scorer in the history of the North American basketball league.

The museum is a multimedia tour of the life of “King James”, including experiences outside the court and in favor of the community. Even the apartment where number 23 lived when he was a child was recreated for the exhibition, thanks to LeBron’s mother, Gloria James. The headquarters will be House Three Thirtyone of the community centers created by the player’s foundation to offer entertainment and professional training to Akron. “My dream has always been to put Akron on the map, so having a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans around the world means a lot to me. I have been known to hold on to many things over the years and I always knew there would be a time and a place to reveal them.”said James.

Many relics will be present in the museum for the athlete’s fans to see up close, such as the suit that LeBron wore in the 2003 NBA Draftthe shirt he wore in McDonald’s All American Gamecollege basketball event, even a basket and the rim of the St. Vincent-St Mary High Schoolwhere the star began to attract attention from around the world.
