During an interview after the defeat of Los Angeles Clippers for the Dallas Mavericks this last Friday, the 10th, the shipowner James Harden stated that he still needs time to adapt and get into the rhythm of the squad. The player highlighted that he did not have the ideal preparation for the season.
“This is only my third game. I didn’t have training camp or preseason, so I’m still adjusting to the speed of the game. I need about ten matches to establish myself.”, stated the shipowner. Harden briefly participated in the team’s training camp. Philadelphia 76erscarrying out only individual activities, leaving training in the middle of the camp.
Kawhi Leonard on why things have changed since the Harden trade:
“We went through an entire training camp knowing our roles…
You lose these guys to bring in 2 new guys…it’s just different.
On any given night one of us is going to have to do this job.” pic.twitter.com/2cMxsqVAAR
