Athletistic/Basketball. The NBA press service announced the suspension of Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green. According to ESPN, the 33-year-old American will be forced to miss 5 matches for his team in the NBA regular season.
Green was punished for grabbing French center Rudy Gobert by the neck during a fight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The incident occurred at the very beginning of the meeting. As a result, three players were ejected before the end of the game: Draymond Green, Klay Thompson (both Golden State) and Jaden McDaniels (Minnesota).
Draymond Green is a four-time NBA champion and two-time Olympic champion. He is known for his versatility and fighting skills, being one of the playful and informal leaders of the Warriors.
