Testing showed ankle sprain
Ukrainian center Sacramento Kings Alexey Len will miss six to eight weeks with an ankle injury.
“Additional testing and further evaluation have confirmed that Lane will be sidelined for approximately six to eight weeks with a moderate but stable ankle sprain,” the team said in a statement.
Lane was injured in the match against Cleveland. Alexey collided with Caris LeVert in one game episode and injured his ankle. After this episode, the Ukrainian never entered the court again.
In July, Lane signed a new contract with the Sacramento Kings for one more season. In the fall, the Ukrainian averaged 2.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists.
Sacramento is in fifth place in the NBA’s Western Conference. The Kings next play Dallas on November 20th.
