Point guard recently drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers needs to ‘return to court conditioning’, says NBA franchise
This past Tuesday, the 21st, the Portland Trail Blazers announced that Scott Henderson will compete for G League in the next days. Still according to the statement from the franchise NBA, the newly drafted player will go to the affiliated team with the aim of “returning to court conditioning”. The young point guard suffered a sprained right ankle and a bone bruise on November 1, missing two to three weeks.
Henderson was the third overall pick last Draft, but so far he has not shown his full potential, averaging 8.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists in five games this season. Thus, the Blazers (3-11) have also not fit in so far, reaching seven consecutive defeats against the Phoenix Suns.
