Point guard recently drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers returns after nine games and wears protective glasses during the game
After nine games off the court due to an ankle injury, the point guard Scott Henderson made his return to the Portland Trail Blazers this last Wednesday, 22nd, in the 121-105 victory against Utah Jazz. However, his participation was very discreet, coming off the bench, scoring just three points and seven assists in 17 minutes.
Much applause from the fans when he appeared on the edge of the court to enter at the end of the first half, Scoot Henderson reflected after the game. “I think I played well. I didn’t throw much, but I’m trying to get my conditioning back. I’m never pressured to pitch a lot. I know they will come back and I know they will fall. But really, the main objective was to try [jogar bem]return and achieve victory”, he stated. In addition to his return, the point guard surprised by appearing with protective glasses. “Just a matter of, as I’m getting older, even at 19, the vision can change sometimes. The doctor recommended contact lenses and they are just for protection, the glasses. Plus, they’re stylish.”he explained.

An explanation by @brookeolzendam: “He recently got contacts…the thought process was to have Scoot wear goggles in hopes that would deter him from touching his contacts over and over.” pic.twitter.com/NtIL2QkHfe
