Chris Paul fires at Scott Foster after ejection: “It’s personal”

Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul suffered his seventh expulsion, in yet another episode involving the player and his great rival in refereeing

This last Wednesday, 22nd, during the game between Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Sunsthe shipowner Chris Paul was sent off after receiving two technical fouls called by Scott Fostera referee with a very controversial history in relation to the Californian franchise player.

“It’s personal. We had a situation a few years ago and it’s personal. The league knows. Everyone knows. There was a meeting and everything. I’m fine with a referee saying whatever he’s saying, but don’t use a technical foul to get your point across.”, the gun fired. His expulsion happened after the referee called CP3 for a foul on Kevin Durant. The player disagreed and complained, resulting in the first technical foul. Soon after, Foster applied the second foul, taking the Warriors athlete out of the game.

Before being ejected from the game, Chris Paul had contributed six points and six assists. The expulsion in the first half had a significant impact on the Californian franchise’s match, as the Suns took advantage of the Warriors’ fouls and won 123-111.
