Xeneize defeated Regatas in Corrientes to recover from two straight losses.
Boca defeated Regatas 73 to 60 at José Jorge Contte to snap the negative streak. Xeneize has accumulated two consecutive losses, after falling to Instituto y Obras last week. El Remero, on the other hand, outclassed Comunicaciones at home in his last performance.
In a low-scoring match, José Vildoza was Boca’s top scorer with 19 points, to which he added 7 rebounds and 3 assists to reach 26 rating credits. Another who reached double digits was Mainoldi, who scored 10 points, while Guerrero completed a good scoring streak adding 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 recoveries.
With this result, Xeneize reached a record of 7-3 which places it in sixth position in the table. The Regatas, with one more loss, have a record of 5-4 and are positioned in ninth place.
Future commitments
Both teams will see action again this Tuesday the 22nd, when the Regatas host Platense in Corrientes and Boca visit Oberá in Luis Augusto Derna.
