What is the NBA In-Season Tournament
This is the first attempt by the most prestigious basketball league on the planet experiment with the cup format in the middle of the regular season. - All matches in the tournament will count towards the Regular Phase, which will continue for 82 matches, except for the final.
- From November 3 to 28, the teams played four matches in the group stage, one against each opponent, two at home and two as visitors.
- Once that is over, the winners of each group and the best remaining team from each conference form a table based on the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. These matches will be a single, eliminatory match, with the winner advancing.
- The quarterfinals will be played on December 4 and 5, the semifinals will be played on December 7 and the final will be played on December 9.
