Athletistic/Basketball. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has commented on the possible departure of his compatriot Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.

“If Kevin wants to go somewhere, why is that considered a sign of weakness? Why does that mean he’s running? Durant is just taking the next step in his career. If a certain guy changes multiple times work then no one will make him say he is running away he will say the guy is doing everything to develop himself and make money they don’t think of us athletes that way and i don’t understand that “, said Green.

Kevin Durant previously filed a trade request with another team during the 2022 summer offseason. During the 2021-22 NBA regular season, Durant played 55 games with Brooklyn. The forward averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. Durant also played in one NBA qualifying game (25 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists) and four NBA playoff games (26.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists). The Brooklyn Nets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, losing to the Boston Celtics 4-0 in the series.
