Head coach of CSKA Emil Rajkovic wished health to the Zenit basketball player Sergei Karasev who was injured during a head-to-head match between the VTB United League teams.
Sunday’s match ended in favor of the Army team in overtime – 104:89. Karasev was injured in the fourth quarter, falling on his back after a collision with Samson Ruzhentsev. The basketball player was only able to leave the court on a stretcher, accompanied by a medical team. Zenit head coach Javier Pascual said after the match that the player had been sent to hospital for examination.
