LeBron James’ son makes college basketball debut after cardiac arrest

Bronny James, son of four-time NBA champion LeBron James played his first college basketball game after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The USC freshman played in the NCAA game against Long State Beach. In 17 minutes on the floor, the guard scored four points, had three rebounds and had two assists and two steals.

In July, an 18-year-old basketball player suffered cardiac arrest due to a congenital malformation. Doctors quickly rendered aid to James Jr. and took him to the hospital. In late November, doctors cleared Bronny to return to basketball.

LeBron James is the leading scorer in regular season and playoff history and the leader in minutes played in the NBA. He also won the league four times, was recognized as the best player in the regular season and the most valuable basketball player in the playoff finals. As a member of Team USA, James won Olympic gold twice.
