The Quimsa player spoke about the team’s current situation, its present and its importance for the province.
Sebastian Acevedoplayer of Quimsa, went through the microphones of 3×3 Radio on the air of UCU Play. His present and that of the team is the main topic of conversation in the Stadium Studio.
La Fusión is at the top of the National League standings and is having fun. In this regard, Acevedo mentioned: “We are happy with the work we are doing, we know we have more to do. Every training session and match is very important to make the team better than the important things.”. Quimsa’s first place was shared at the Olympic de La Banda, where Seba, a native of Santiago del Estero, said that “It is incredible for me and for Santiago basketball that we are both teams at the top of the table. Very good for the province”.
This weekend, those led by Ramella will face the Basketball Champions League Americas at Ciudad Stadium. “Playing in the Champions League is something incredible, something that has happened to me since I was in Quimsa. It’s a great show and the fact that Quimsa is there every year and wins gives you that much more competitive edge. It is very important to play in the first window in Santiago”the player declared.

About his personal moment, he commented “I want to continue to mature in terms of what the game is, especially on a tactical level, in terms of reading. Physically I am not satisfied either.”. In turn, he added “It happened to me during the first years in Quimsa that I didn’t think I wanted to enjoy myself, I had a lot of personal pressures that didn’t serve me well. Nowadays, I try to make that speech every day, because sometimes things will work out for you and other times they won’t. I get hot and sad, but then I try to wait for that thought to change my mind.”.

Finally, he spoke about the possibility of playing abroad: “I go every year, the experience in Colombia is great. I also like to create human relationships because I keep talking to people I cross paths with there. I’m not closed to anything, I’m open to whatever comes my way at the end of a season”he concluded.
