The Czech center received an individual award for his effective game against Besiktas
Center Promethea Ondrej Balvin received an award MVP 11th round Eurocup. The Czech basketball player received such recognition for his performance in a match against Besiktas.
Let us remind you that yesterday, December 13, Prometheus confidently beat the Turkish club (89:70) in the Eurocup Group A match. Balvin recorded 17 points, 9 rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots. This allowed him to score 28 points on the performance index and become the most valuable player of the entire round.
Balvin has been playing for the Ukrainian club since the summer of 2022. At the end of last season, the Czech center became the most productive Prometheus player in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League (LEBL), averaging 12.9 points per game. In May, Prometheus extended his contract for the current season.
Prometheus, having won six out of 11 matches, is in fifth place in Group A of the EuroCup. Ronen Ginzburg’s team will play their next match on December 16 against Tallinn Kalev as part of the LEBL. On December 20, Prometheus will play against London Lions in the Eurocup.
