Former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar underwent surgery after breaking his hip

Six-time NBA champion Kareem Abdul Jabbar had surgery after breaking his hip following a fall during a concert in Los Angeles, reports Wbrc.com

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has played 66,297 minutes in NBA games. This is the second highest level in history. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James broke Abdul-Jabbar’s record in 2023.

It is noteworthy that the 76-year-old former basketball player suffered a fracture on Friday during a concert, after which he was taken to the Ronald Reagan University Medical Center in California. Abdul-Jabbar previously held the record for most points scored in the NBA, a record also broken by LeBron James.
