Dmitry Zabirchenko continues to gather his former players in the new team
Kyiv-Basket signed former Budivelnik players Maxim Zaitseva And Lev Koshevatsky.
Zaitsev played for Nikolaev teams, and last season he moved to Budivelnik. As part of the champions in the current FAVBET Super League, the defender played 13 matches and averaged 4.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Koshevatsky previously played for Kyiv-Basket, after which he moved to Sumy in the 2021/22 season. In the summer, the point guard joined Budivelnik, for whom he played 13 matches. The player averaged 6.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Earlier it was reported that Budivelnik withdrew from the competition due to problems with financing. The mentor of the Ukrainian champions of last season, Dmitry Zabirchenko, became the new coach of Kyiv-Basket.
Kyiv-Basket takes seventh place in the FAVBET Super League, having won six victories in 13 matches. In the next match on December 17, the Kiev team will play against Odessa BIPA.
