Kyiv-Basket beat BIPA in the first match under the leadership of Zabirchenko on the first day of the capital’s FAVBET Super League bubble

Kyiv-Basket achieved a difficult victory over BEEP in a home bubble match FAVBET Super Leagues – 76:68.

The Odessa team played strongly in the first quarter and eventually managed to win it with a four-point advantage. In the next segment of the game, the Kiev team sharply improved, and went into the long break as leaders – 38:30.

Almost the entire remaining time, the hosts successfully kept the opponent at a distance of plus or minus ten points. But at the very end, BIPA made a breakthrough and reduced the lead to -2 a couple of minutes before the end. However, the decisive minutes remained with the Kyivians, who managed to maintain the winning score.

The MVP of the match was the capital team’s forward Vadim Zaplotinsky, who scored a double-double – 16 points and the same number of rebounds.

Let us note that this match was the first for Kyiv-Basket under the leadership of the new head coach – Dmitry Zabirchenko. The specialist found a new place of work at the beginning of the week, after it became known that Budivelnik, where Dmitry had previously worked without success, had been removed from the competition.

Kyiv-Basket won the sixth match out of 13 and secured seventh place in the table. BIPA remained second to last.
