Press service of the VTB United League club »Bet Nizhny Novgorod », announced the return of American defender Casey Shepherd to the team.
The agreement with the athlete is valid until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Previously, Shepherd played for the Nizhny Novgorod team in the 2021/22 season. In United League matches, the basketball player spent 24 minutes on the floor, averaging 14.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. The American holds the league record for most points scored in a quarter – 26 (in a match against Khimki in September 2020).
Paris Nizhny Novgorod occupies the penultimate, 13th place in the VTB United League standings, having won 4 victories in 16 matches.
