Honored Coach of Russia, Member of the VTB United League Hall of Fame, President “Avtodora” Vladimir Rodionov died at the age of 76, reports the press service of the Saratov basketball club.
The causes of death have not been specified. Rodionov was president of Avtodor for 41 years.

Under the leadership of Rodionov, Avtodor twice won the regular championship of the Super League “A”, became a four-time silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist of the Russian championships.
