Basketball player from St. Petersburg “Zenith » Sergey Karasev began training according to an individual program after leaving the hospital, the club’s press service reports.
On December 10, Karasev was injured in the fourth quarter of the VTB United League regular season match with CSKA, falling on his back after a collision with Samson Ruzhentsev. The basketball player was only able to leave the court on a stretcher, accompanied by a medical team. It was later learned that Karasev escaped serious injury.
“Good news: Sergei Karasev has been released from the hospital, returned to St. Petersburg and has already started training according to an individual program,” says the Zenit press service.
