Williamson, who barely took to the court in the 2021/2022 season due to a string of injuries, stressed that he is excited for years to come. “I want to prove that I am a winner here, first of all. It’s that simple. I want to win with the coach [Willie] Greenas well as with my companions”, said the athlete from pelicans.
The 22-year-old star also revealed his main goal in the passage through the Louisiana team. “The biggest goal, of course, is to bring the title to New Orleans and I feel like we’re on the right track. We are hungry and excited to build on the success of last season.”nailed the pivot, during a press conference.
On my last birthday (in 2021) I found out that I had suffered a broken foot and would therefore be out for the entire season. It was a tough time, to sum it up. So, a year later, seeing this team give me a gift like that is indescribable. I will not let them down. I will not disappoint my family, this city and, above all, myself”.
