Saratovsky “Avtodor” has signed American guard Malik Newman to a contract, according to the basketball club’s website.
The deal with the 26-year-old runs until the end of this season.
Last season, the 26-year-old American already played for the Saratov team and helped Avtodor qualify for the playoffs. As a member of the Volga team, Newman became the best sniper in the VTB United League, averaging 18.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33:09 minutes of play.
