Prometheus in Riga beat the Slovenian Cedevita Olympia in the match of the 13th round of Group A Eurocup.
The first quarter was left to the Slovenian team. Towards the end of the second 10 minutes, Ronen Ginzburg’s team managed to take the lead and go into the long break with a 5-point advantage.
In the next quarters there was also an equal fight on the court. Prometheus was more successful at the end of the fight and managed to get the victory – 105:100.
Gian Clavell and Ty Odiase scored 17 points each for Prometheus. In total, 7 representatives of the Ukrainian team scored 10 or more points.
The most productive player of the meeting was one of Cedevita’s leaders, EuroBasket 2017 champion Jaka Blazic – 26 points.
Prometheus (7-6) takes sixth place in Group A of the EuroCup. Tsedevita (0-13) closes the standings.
In the next match, Ginzburg’s team will play against Ventspils in LEBL on December 30.
