A dog bit Denver basketball player Gordon in the face and he needed 21 stitches.

Before Denver Nuggets Aaron Gordon was injured following a dog attack, reports the NBA club’s press service.

As reported, the incident occurred on December 25, the animal bit the player on the hand and face. According to The Athletic, doctors administered 21 stitches to the basketball player.

— Gordon suffered lacerations to his face and arm after being bitten by a dog. “Aaron is in good condition and will recover separately from the team,” Denver said in a statement.

This season, Gordon, 28, played 28 games in the regular season, averaging 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds.

The Nuggets are third in the NBA Western Conference with 22 wins in 32 games.
