Pistons beat Raptors and end losing streak

After 28 consecutive defeats, the Detroit Pistons beat the Toronto Raptors and won again in the NBA; team avoided equaling worst streak in American sports

O Detroit Pistons surpassed the Toronto Raptors by 129 to 127 last Saturday night, the 30th, and won again in the NBA after 28 consecutive defeats. Last placed in the Western Conference, the team avoided equaling the longest sequence of negative results in the history of US professional sports.

The worst sequence is Chicago Cardinalswho were defeated 29 times in a row in the NFL between 1942 and 1945. The Pistons’ incredible negative streak began after their 118-102 victory over the Chicago Bullson October 28th of this year.

Cade Cunningham was Detroit’s top scorer, with 30 points; he also distributed 12 assists. Pascal Siakam was the Raptors’ highlight, with 35 points.
